1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Indwell Solutions LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your access to and use of the StudentMate application and related services ("Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

2. User Account & Privacy

  • Account Anonymity: We prioritize your privacy. We do not store your email or phone number in our systems; these are managed by third-party authentication providers (e.g., Google Firebase®). Our system identifies you solely by a unique, randomly generated User ID (UID).
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials managed by the third-party provider.

3. AI Disclaimer & No Professional Advice

The Service utilizes third-party artificial intelligence models (e.g., OpenAI®, Google®, Anthropic®). By using the Service, you acknowledge:

  • Accuracy: AI outputs may be inaccurate, misleading, or outdated ("hallucinations"). The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of any response.
  • No Professional Advice: The Service is for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice in fields including, but not limited to, law, medicine, finance, or engineering. Always consult a qualified professional.
  • Verification: You are solely responsible for verifying any information found in the Service before relying on it.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable national or international laws.
  • Generate content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, violent, or sexually explicit.
  • Attempt to bypass security controls, reverse engineer, or "jailbreak" the AI models.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service infrastructure, design, and original content are the exclusive property of Indwell Solutions LLC. All third-party trademarks (such as Firebase®, OpenAI®, Google®, etc.) referenced herein are the property of their respective owners.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INDWELL SOLUTIONS LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Indwell Solutions LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

8. Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
